    Service-specific terms for mailbox, hosted email, email forwarding and Microsoft 365 services. Sections 6 (Charges and payment), 7 (Renewals and price changes), 8 (Suspension and termination) and 10 (Liability) of the Master Services Agreement apply to this Schedule.

    1. Scope

    1.1This Schedule applies to email services supplied or resold by Hosting UK, including mailbox hosting, email forwarding, spam filtering, hosted email platforms and Microsoft 365 services.

    1.2Third-party email services may also be subject to the terms of the relevant supplier.

    2. Email service types

    2.1Email Services may include mailboxes, aliases, forwarding, filtering, calendars, collaboration tools or other features depending on the package purchased.

    2.2Features, quotas, storage, message limits, sending limits and retention periods may vary by package and supplier.

    3. Third-party services

    3.1Where Hosting UK resells or manages third-party services, including Microsoft services, the Customer agrees to comply with the applicable third-party terms.

    3.2Hosting UK is not responsible for third-party platform outages, changes, restrictions, pricing changes, feature withdrawals or supplier-imposed service limitations.

    4. Customer responsibilities

    4.1The Customer is responsible for mailbox users, passwords, access control, device security, account recovery settings, authorised users and email content.

    4.2The Customer must ensure that email accounts are used lawfully and in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy.

    5. Security

    5.1The Customer is responsible for securing end-user devices, passwords, multi-factor authentication settings and account access.

    5.2Hosting UK may suspend, reset, restrict or disable accounts where it reasonably suspects compromise, abuse, spam, phishing, malware, unauthorised access or other security risk.

    6. Acceptable use

    6.1The Customer must not use Email Services to send spam, phishing messages, malware, unlawful content, abusive content, forged messages or unsolicited bulk email.

    6.2Hosting UK may apply rate limits, sending restrictions, filtering, blocks or suspensions to protect reputation, deliverability, network stability and other customers.

    7. Retention and backups

    7.1Unless expressly purchased, backup, archiving, journalling, litigation hold or long-term retention services are not included.

    7.2The Customer is responsible for retaining copies of business-critical email and complying with its own legal, regulatory and retention obligations.

    7.3Deleted email, expired accounts or terminated mailboxes may not be recoverable.

    8. Migration and configuration

    8.1Email migration assistance is provided only where expressly agreed and is performed on a reasonable endeavours basis.

    8.2Hosting UK does not guarantee that all email, metadata, calendars, contacts, permissions, rules or other mailbox data can be migrated successfully.

    9. Suspension

    9.1Hosting UK may suspend Email Services for non-payment, breach of this Schedule, breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, suspected compromise, spam, phishing, malware or supplier requirement.
