    Selling shouldn't be stressful

You've built something. We'll look after it.

Selling a hosting company can feel daunting. You've built relationships with customers over many years and naturally want to know they're in safe hands. Our goal isn't simply to acquire customers - it's to continue looking after them, protect the reputation you've built, and make the transition smooth for everyone involved.

    Our own story

    We've been in your shoes.

Hosting UK became part of the iomart Group in 2012. Like many owners considering a sale today, our founders had spent years building a successful company, looking after loyal customers and creating a talented team. Selling the business was a significant decision - and one that naturally raised questions about customers, staff and the future.

More than a decade later, that decision has proved to be a positive one.

Many of the original Hosting UK team are still with the business today, continuing to support customers and playing an important role in its growth. They've had opportunities to work with new technologies, modern infrastructure and larger-scale platforms - while remaining focused on the high levels of service customers expect.

We've continued to invest in the platform, expand our capabilities and welcome thousands of new customers, while preserving the values that made Hosting UK successful in the first place.

That's why we understand what matters when someone chooses to sell their hosting business. It isn't just about agreeing a price. It's about protecting your customers, supporting your people and giving the business you've built the opportunity to keep growing.

    We've lived that journey ourselves.

    Why sell to Hosting UK

Six reasons owners trust us with their business

    Fair valuations

A realistic valuation based on recurring revenue, customer quality, infrastructure and future opportunity. No inflated promises. No unrealistic offers.

    Flexible deal structures

Cash purchase, renewal-based earn-out, hybrid arrangements, performance bonuses or deferred consideration - structured around your circumstances.

    You choose your involvement

Walk away, stay involved for six months, or run the migration yourself in return for a bonus. Whatever suits you.

    Completely confidential

Initial conversations are entirely private. Nothing is shared with staff or customers unless - and until - you're ready.

    We understand hosting

We're not private equity. We're not financial investors. We're hosting engineers who've built cPanel, Plesk, WHMCS, VMware and Virtuozzo estates ourselves.

    Your customers matter

We minimise disruption, communicate clearly throughout the transition, and continue looking after the customers you've spent years earning.

    What we're looking for

Rather than lead with revenue figures…

We'd love to speak with owners of any of the following. Whether you have 100 customers or 10,000, we'd be happy to have a conversation.

    Shared hosting providers
    Managed hosting businesses
    VPS providers
    Dedicated server providers
    WordPress hosts
    Magento specialists
    Domain registrars and resellers
Web design agencies with recurring hosting revenue
Managed service providers with hosting customers
    Flexible deal structures

    Frequently asked

Straight answers to the questions we hear

Every acquisition is different. We'll discuss the best outcome together - including TUPE where it applies.

Not necessarily. We'll agree the best approach before any changes are made, and communicate with customers on your timetable.

No. We're interested in businesses with loyal customers and recurring revenue, even where investment or optimisation is required.

Absolutely. Confidentiality is fundamental to every conversation from the very first call.

No. We can manage the migration, or if you prefer to remain involved we'll agree a suitable incentive.

Yes. Many owners choose to provide consultancy or technical assistance during the transition period.

Yes - always. If you have a cohort of customers of any kind related to our services (hosting, domains, email, cloud, managed platforms or anything adjacent) we're open to a conversation about acquiring them. It doesn't matter how many customers you have, what technology they're on or whether they sit inside a wider business you're keeping. What harm can a conversation do? Get in touch and we'll take it from there, in complete confidence.
