Service-specific terms for domain registrations, renewals, transfers, expiry, auto-renewal and registry-specific requirements. Sections 6 (Charges and payment), 7 (Renewals and price changes), 8 (Suspension and termination) and 10 (Liability) of the Master Services Agreement apply to this Schedule.
1. Application of this Schedule
1.1This Schedule applies to all domain name registration, renewal, transfer and management services supplied by Hosting UK.
1.2Hosting UK is a trading name of Easyspace Limited.
1.3Easyspace Limited is the contracting entity for Domain Services and may provide Domain Services as an ICANN accredited registrar, a Nominet registrar, and/or through third-party registrars, registry operators and suppliers.
1.4This Schedule forms part of the Agreement and should be read together with the Master Services Agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy and any applicable Service Schedule.
2. Domain Registration Services
2.1Hosting UK will use reasonable endeavours to submit domain registration, renewal and transfer requests in accordance with the Customer's instructions.
2.2Acceptance of an order for a domain name does not guarantee that the domain name will be registered, renewed or transferred successfully.
2.3Domain names are registered subject to availability and the rules and policies of the relevant registry operator and registrar.
2.4Hosting UK and Easyspace act solely as intermediaries between the Customer and the relevant registry or registrar.
2.5Hosting UK does not guarantee that any domain name can be registered, renewed, transferred, retained or recovered following expiry.
3. Customer Information
3.1The Customer must provide accurate and complete registration information.
3.2The Customer shall promptly update any information that becomes inaccurate.
3.3Failure to maintain accurate information may result in suspension, cancellation, transfer restrictions or loss of the domain name.
3.4The Customer warrants that the registration and use of a domain name will not infringe the rights of any third party.
4. Domain Ownership
4.1Domain names are licensed and not owned.
4.2The Customer acquires a right to use the domain name in accordance with the policies of the relevant registry and registrar for the registration period only.
4.3Hosting UK makes no representation that the registration of a domain name grants any intellectual property rights.
5. Renewals and Expiry
5.1The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that domain names are renewed before expiry.
5.2Hosting UK may provide renewal reminders but accepts no liability if such reminders are not received.
5.3Failure to renew a domain name before expiry may result in suspension, redemption, auction, deletion or permanent loss of the domain name.
5.4Hosting UK does not guarantee that an expired domain name can be recovered.
6. Auto-Renewal
6.1Where auto-renewal is enabled, the Customer authorises Hosting UK to automatically renew the domain name and collect the applicable renewal fees.
6.2The Customer remains responsible for maintaining valid payment details.
6.3If payment cannot be collected, Hosting UK may be unable to renew the domain name.
6.4Hosting UK accepts no liability for any loss arising from failure of automatic renewal due to invalid payment details or insufficient funds.
7. Transfers
7.1Domain transfers are subject to the policies and requirements of the relevant registry and registrar.
7.2The Customer shall provide all information and authorisations necessary to complete a transfer.
7.3Hosting UK does not guarantee successful transfer, transfer timescales or transfer completion.
7.4Transfers may be refused or delayed by registry rules, registrar restrictions, transfer locks, inaccurate information or actions of third parties.
8. Suspension and Cancellation
8.1Hosting UK may suspend, lock, cancel or transfer a domain name where required by law, court order, ICANN, Nominet, the applicable registry operator or registrar, for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, non-payment or breach of the Agreement.
8.2Hosting UK may take action without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
9. Domain Disputes
9.1The Customer agrees to submit to any applicable domain dispute resolution process.
9.2This includes the UDRP, URS, Nominet DRS and any equivalent registry dispute process.
9.3The Customer shall comply with any decision made under such procedures.
10. Privacy and Data
10.1The Customer acknowledges that registration data may be processed, disclosed or published where required by law, registry policy, registrar policy, ICANN requirements, Nominet requirements or dispute procedures.
10.2Personal data shall be processed in accordance with Hosting UK's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
11. Registry-Specific Terms
11.1Certain domain extensions are subject to additional eligibility, residency, verification, dispute and compliance requirements imposed by the relevant registry.
11.2The Customer agrees to comply with all applicable registry requirements.
11.3Certain extensions are operated by CentralNic (or its successor entities), including: .ae.org, .br.com, .cn.com, .de.com, .eu.com, .gb.net, .jp.com, .la, .sa.com, .se.net, .uk.com, .uk.net, .us.com, .uy.com and .za.com, and any successor or replacement extensions operated by CentralNic from time to time.
11.4For .uk domain names, Easyspace Limited is a Nominet registrar and the Customer enters into a separate contract with Nominet and agrees to comply with all applicable Nominet terms and dispute resolution procedures.
11.5For generic top-level domains, including .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info, the Customer agrees to comply with all applicable ICANN policies and consensus procedures.
12. Liability and Indemnity
12.1Hosting UK does not warrant the availability, suitability, continued registration or value of any domain name.
12.2Hosting UK shall not be liable for any loss arising from failure to renew, failed transfer, registry action, registrar action, domain suspension, domain deletion, domain disputes, customer error, inaccurate registration information or actions of third parties.
12.3The Customer shall indemnify Hosting UK and Easyspace Limited against all claims, costs, liabilities and expenses arising from the registration, renewal, transfer or use of any domain name.
