Long Reach Ethernet

Using three diverse and independent protected circuits from two seperate tier 1 carriers between London and Manchester, we can provide a fully redundant LRE (Long Reach Ethernet) service.

This service is ideal to bridge Manchester and London datacentre facilities together over ethernet and can be delivered at 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds.

Using our infrastructure, Hosting UK can offer the following Long Reach Ethernet configurations:

• point to point connection with a single VLANs
• point to point connection with QinQ tunneling

*QinQ is currently only available between Telecity Kilburn House in Manchester and Telehouse North in London.

Additional Local Loop connectivity can be provided via our Metro Ethernet to the majority of Data Centres in London and Data Centres in Manchester.
